Today we will discuss about button mushroom

     Before discuss it's cultivation let's know about it's advantages . Nutrients present in it help us to cope many disses.Lets know about some of the disses which prevented by the use of button mushroom .

      Obesity: To take boiled mushroom in breakfast, it's help to loose our fat quickly. Due to high presence of carbohydrate it control the sugar lavel of the body, it is useful for diebetic patients.

      Streghtens the immunity : Due to presence of celenium it's help to increase our immunity & also prevent us from cough and cold.

   Stomach related problems : Due to high value of carbohydrates in it , it keeps us safe from acidity and other stomach related problems.

   Heart related problems : consumption of mushroom it prevent us from heart related problems.

  Cancer :  in mushroom  has Bita glycine and eonolic acid is present. It help to prevent the risk of prostated and breast cancer type of disses when it's taken in our diets.

  Buttom mushroom cultivation : The first step towards cultivation is to make fertilizer.Which is make in open areas.It is cultivated on the clean high raised concrete platform. it platform raised to prevent of gathering of run- off water.

 The fertlizer is made of two ways : 

                1 Natural fertlizer

                2 Synthetic fertlizer

 

   1 Natural process of fertlizer : 

To make natural fertlizer it requires dung of horse, wheat straw , hens fertlizer and gypsum.Wheat straw should be cut 7*10 cm and minutely and take care that horse dung should be free from any animals dung and should not be wet.Firstly speard wheat straw and sprinkle water over it, mix all the ingredients.Then the ingredients are spread and water is sprinkled over it, and then turns it it into kritam fertlizer.After 3-4 day 25gm of gypsum added and in the lost of 100 ml methalene along with water is sprinkled.

                   Filling compost into tray

Compost is of dark brown colour and doesn't emit a smell.The compost should not be much wet or too dried.If the compost is wet then squeeze it's water and place it in the tray of tendile woods of 15-18cm.The gap between two trays should be of 15-20 cm uppermost layer should have been upto 1 meter.

              Synthetic process of fertlizer

Synthetic fertlizer is made by using either wheat straw and bran or( rice) straw and bran, urea , gypsum, ammonium nitrate and ammonium sulfate. Straw is cut into 8 to 10 cm.and then after speard a thin layer and after water is sprinkled over it. Next step is to mix bran , gypsum,urea,and calcium nitrate and again water is sprinkled over it and spread hand or stick.

                      Temperature

 The room in which the fertlizer bed is kept should be at( 25 degree ) .To maintain the moisture, water is sprinkled over the wall of the room . During spoun run outside wind should be prevented. if temperature is decreased the spoun run time is gradually increase.

 

                             Crop

After 15-20 days of spouning pinchesd started to appear and during this phase in 5-6 days, small white coloured buttom are seen and the crop become ready to cut down.if the crop  is left for more time then the Nutrients in it become less effective. During cutting we should close the cap slowly and should cut from upto root. Some farmer cut the mushroom from the level of soil.

It's average growth is 3-4 kg per tray . sometimes it also can be 6 kg per tray .
