          Cumin plant is a annual Ayurveda, which grows up to 1-1.5 feets long.cunin's soft stem is more attached to branches , leaves are long and it bears red and white small flower which blooms on are branches in groups. Cumin seeds are big in size and they have stripes on them.

        BENEFITS OF CUMIN Seed

   1. Cumin has vitamin c which helps to boost our immunity. Cumim is very useful to them who has poor immune system. and it also helps to prevent low blood pressure , inflammation, stroke, and the risk of cancer.

 2. Cumin has vitamin E which works as an antioxidant which, help to strengthens the skin cell and help to maintain glow and flexibility of the skin. These antioxidant also prevent the risk of skin cancer by the harmful rays of sun.

3. Cumin has thymoquinon which prevente the risk of asthma and it also acts as a bronchodilator & cumin also acts an anticongative agent which help to clean lungs, bronchioles & trachea.
                                                              Due to presence of iron it prevents the risk of anemia.1 teaspoon of cumin powder has approx.4 ml of iron present in it.

               Climate for cultivation of cumim
 
Cumin crops require general cold weather and for the ripening of its fruits the general hot weather vis most suitable one, it's crops are not suitable for chilled weather.

                 Prepration of land
For preparation of cumin, lattirate soil is most suitable.The soil should have a good water draining capacity.Before sowing the seeds the land should be ploughed properly and it's soil should be make free.1 heactare require 12 kg of cumin seeds and to prevent from the seeds from diseases 2 gm carbodiazonium wp / kg.

       Time and Technique of cultivation

 Cumin cultivation is done in the month of mid November. It's cultivation is basically done by sprinkle method.fir it's cultivation pits are made and cumin seeds are sprinkle with plough and layer of soil is spread over it. It is sowed in rows from 20-30 cm by the hooks of wood and iron a line is made and seeds are sown in the line with the help of plough and a thin layer of soil is made over it.
   
                            Irrigation

The first irrigation of cumin is done just after it's cultivation and during this irrigation this thing should be kept in mind that the flow of water is not fast. And it's second irrigation is done after 1 week when flowers start to blooms on it. After keeping weather and soil structure in mind in the interval of 15 - 20 days it should be irrigated.cumin plants require irrigation upto 4-5 time in their whole lifetime.

                Cutting and production

Cumin crops ripens in approximately 4 months, it's cutting is done by using sickle. After cutting the crops are left ton dry completely. After drying the production is upto 6-10 tons/ heactare
